Today Meizu has officially released a new budget smartphone, Meizu A5, selling at 699 yuan, $116, it will start to sell at 10:00 a.m. [GMT+8] Beijing time on July 3. 
Meizu A5 smartphone uses MT6737 Quad core 1.3GHz processor, adopting 5 inch 720P screen, it has RAM 2GB ROM 16GB internal storage, dual camera, 5MP front 8MP back camera, built in 3060mAh battery, running Flyme 6 OS.
Meizu A5 adopts Polycarbonate material, CNC craftsmanship, it has black, silver and champagne three colors. Currently, Meizu A5 black version has been listed on its official site to sell. We believe the reason why Meizu releases this budget smartphone is to aim at low-end market such as students. Just don’t mix it up, it is not Meizu 5A, but Meizu A5.
