Huawei will present its new range of smartphones Mate 10 on Monday, among which we know that there will be Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and, for a few hours, Mate 10 Porsche Design. The list of models might not end there as we have been hearing about for some time from another more affordable model Huawei Mate 10 Lite.
Now the famous source of leaks Evan Blass has published an image where you can perfectly appreciate the design of this smartphone in blue. A couple of days ago we could also see it in black and gold colors. Although Mate 10 Lite is cheaper than the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, it is by no means a budget phone.

As for the specs, and per the previous information, the Mate 10 Lite is expected to feature a 5.9-inch display along with an 18:9 aspect ratio and by association an FHD+ (2160 x 1080) resolution. Inside, it is expected the Mate 10 Lite will come boosting 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and be powered by a Hi-Silicon Kirin 659 SoC. As for the cameras, it does seem as though this model will boast a dual camera configuration on the front of the device, as well as on the back. With the rear setup consisting of a 16MP and 2MP camera duo, compared to the 8MP and 2MP combination expected on the front.
Additional feature understood to be on offer include the option to expand the storage when needed via microSD (up to 256GB), a 3340 mAh capacity battery, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The previous retailer listing did suggest the Mate 10 Lite will come running on Android 7.0 (Nougat) although Huawei did seemingly confirm that the Mate 10 line will come running on Android 8.0 (Oreo) at launch. In either case, the expectation is the Mate 10 Lite will first become available in Europe €349.99 euro and likely priced around the $415 Dollars. Like the rest of the Mate 10 series, the Huawei Mate 10 Lite will be introduced on October 16th, which is the next Monday.
