The UmiDigi S2 Pro is a metal-made smartphone that features a distinguishable all-screen design. On the front, there’s a 6-inch FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone manages to achieve a large screen-to-body ratio thanks to its small front bezels.
When it comes to hardware, the S2 Pro certainly doesn’t disappoint. It’s powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor clocked at 2.6 GHz, coupled with 6GB of RAM. There are 128GB worth of onboard storage, and if that’s not enough, the handset also features microSD support of up to 256GB. This model also packs a massive 5,100mAh battery that is promised to last 2 days between charges with normal use.
Another big highlight of this device is the dual-camera composition at the back. The 13MP Sony main camera is responsible for taking all the photos, while an assistive 5MP sensor is employed for depth perception. This combination allows for shallow depth-of-field/bokeh effects. The 16MP front snapper is enriched by various selfie modes.
UMIDIGI has also splash resistant but lacks a headphone jack, so you’ll have to make due with the USB Type-C port only. It’s also worth pointing out that the S2 Pro features face recognition in addition to the fingerprint scanner on the back. Of course, there is no fingerprint reader that is on the back but can even be released with face recognition.
