Design
This 15.6 inch laptop follows the Zenbook design pattern, lightweight device with a strong body, made complete from aluminum; the brushed top contrast with the whole smooth finish chasis. Its, almost, corner to corner screen gives the VivoBook a compact design. The keyboard is not compromised, it comes with a full keyboard layout. Golden is the only color available by the moment and Asus din’t gave us a hint if they are gonna introduce other colors.

Hardware
This sexy device it’s also beefed computer which is powered by 8th generation Intel Core i5-8250U Quad Core @1.6GHz up-to @3.4GHz (TurboBoost), the GPU present is a NVIDIA GeForce 940MX 2GB, a great companion for better and faster in playing games and watching videos. The processing department is paired with 8Gb DDR4 2133MHz RAM for advanced multitasking, up to 12Gb, the hard drive is a mix of 128Gb SSD for Software + 500 regular HDD for storage.
For connectivity there is Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/N/AC DualBand Antenna and Bluetooth 4.0, LAN port is not present. In the right panel contains two USB 2.0 connectors and an SD card slot. Review
The first thing we note is that this computer share almost, if not, the same hardware like the new Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro and like this one, the Asus VivoBook is a high-end laptop with state-of-the-art components. Many laptops pass through our hands, but it is the first laptop that we tested thoroughly with the eighth generation of low-power processors. Specifically, this model is quite balanced with the Intel Core i5-8250U quad-core, 8 GB of DDR4 memory (are welded), 128Gb of NVMe SSD, 15.6-inch easy to read IPS screen and a design style more pure Macbook style but with the heritage by the Zenbook form factor.
This device can be a substitute for a regular desktop PC, you can play games at medium setting with good frame-rate. But, if you want to edit 4K videos we encourage you to go for the highest configuration of the Intel i7 processor.
For the battery performance, in full screen non streaming video you can get upto 3.5 hours of screen time, but if you are working light then you can get up to 8 hours of work time.
