Although PC market is going through a rough patch and losing more and more sales, there is a category that is only gaining popularity – 2-in-1 tablets or laptops-transformers. Usually, these devices come with detachable keyboards and have laptop-comparable specs. At the same time, it can be tricky to find a suitable budget option, so we found one and it’s worth checking out – it’s convertible Laptop 13.3-inch FHD touchscreen Chuwi CoreBook 2-in-1 Tablet. Chuwi is one of the most famous brands in Chinese, this brand specializes mostly in tablets & laptops. The catalog offered by this brand is very broad, for example, we have the Chuwi LapBook 12.3, Chuwi HiBook Pro, Chuwi Hi13, Chuwi Surbook and Now Chuwi CoreBook. Given the extraordinary success of its CHUWI CoreBook campaign, the company has decided to challenge users. If the crowdfunding reaches the figure of 100 thousand dollars, the new 2-in-1 will arrive with 8 GB of RAM instead of 6 GB. Obviously, the upgrade will be free for all those who have already pre-ordered the device!

The Chuwi CoreBook is a 13.3″ Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet with optional stylus and keyboard. It’s powered by an Intel Core M3-7Y30, 8GB of RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 drive. It has wireless AC, Type-C, front fingerprint reader, Bluetooth 4.1, top dual loudspeakers and a MicroSD card slot. The screen is a fully laminated panel with 2.5D rounded edges on the glass.

    Package Contents

The items you get in the product box:

    • 1 x Chuwi Corebook
    • 1 x Corebook Keyboard
    • 1 x Power Adapter & Cable
    • 1 x Corebook Stylus
    • 1 x User Manual in English

    Design

Chuwi CoreBook has a robust and well-built body that comes with an aluminum alloy housing. It protects the tablet well to avoid damage. It is very thin and super light to be carried on the subway or train, I can do the easy work, it is really very useful. being very comfortable to use and therefore ergonomics will be the order of the day. Its edges are slightly rounded, It has dimensions of 12.4″ x 8.3″ x 0.33 inches. In terms of weight, the Chuwi CoreBook weighs 1046 grams Without Keyboard and 1676 Grams With Keyboard.

On the front we can see its screen, below it we can see the Fingerprint recognition button, and above it, right in the center we have a 2-megapixel camera, its quality is very elegant. A front-facing camera is sitting comfortably above the display in landscape mode.

In the upper part, we locate the micro USB port, 2x speaker, a USB 3.0 Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and an SD card slot.

In the lower part, we have connected to connect a keyboard, thanks to the same access to the PC function, a feature well received by all users.

You can see the power and volume button on the left side of the tablet, which is easy to control.

The unique 2.5D curved glass edges make it not only very beautiful, but the ergonomic design really fits more comfortably in your hand compared to other tablets.

In the back, you will find the rear camera on the top, it feels very elegant, I really love the touch. You take the very nice photos, of course, you can not compare it with the iPhone or Samsung.

    Display

It carries the OGS screen of 13.3 inches, with a resolution of 1920 * 1080, 350 nits, it gives me the image and clear and vivid video. It brings me great pleasure for the entertainment after a day of work. Enjoy the favorite games, the speed very fast, and the whole process is fluid. It’s more powerful than other brands I’ve used before. Chuwi CoreBook provides a sharper contrast and natural and delicate colors. In addition, the fully laminated screen greatly reduces glare, perfect for use at home, office or suburbs. The CoreBook looks more like an iPad Pro than a Surface Pro, with its soft, rounded edges and a 2.5D curved glass. The black bezels make it seem like there are none, but there’s still a good amount around the 13.3-inch panel, now fully laminated, fortunately. Unfortunately, the resolution has been reduced to 1920×1080 now, versus the SurBook’s staggering 2736×1824. The body, while still full aluminum alloy, is now thinner.

    Hardware

Inside, the CoreBook barely changed compared to the SurBook except in one very important part: the processor. Instead of an Intel Celeron, Chuwi has finally made the jump to an Intel Core processor, though just a Core m, specifically an M3-7Y30, for now, .that will move perfectly thanks to the use of an Intel Core m3-7Y30 processor consisting of 2 cores and 4 threads at a Base / Turbo frequency of 1.00 / 2.60 GHz backed by Intel HD Graphics 615 @ 900 MHz graphics capable of supporting 4K resolutions. The CPU is backed by a pretty grateful 6 GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 flash storage. Chuwi CoreBook 2-in-1 will arrive with 8 GB of RAM instead of 6 GB.

    Features

The rest of the information Chuwi Corebook passes by incorporating a stylus with 1024 pressure levels, a grateful fingerprint reader to add access device much faster, as well as an important security method that can be used for online payments or system lock, Gone too is the Surface-like kickstand. Instead, Chuwi “borrows” an idea from the Huawei MateBook E. The cover itself provides the stand, with a hinge that can go as far as 165 degrees. Chuwi promises that the hinge on the back survives more than 20,000 flipping, but it’s really the trackpad quality that we’re interested in. Chuwi Corebook comes with the 6GB DDR3 memory, it can perform multitask without much of a stretch, exchanging between the world’s most prevalent profitability bundles including Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office. Its huge 128GB eMMC 5.1 capacity won’t just let you appreciate extremely quick boot-ups and exchange times, but at the same time is sufficient to store the majority of your records, travel photographs, most loved films or TV arrangement.

Chuwi CoreBook supports full capacity USB-C 3.0 port. It can bolster charging, USB information transmission, and video/sound transmission. it is additionally good with the most exceptional USB Power Delivery 2.0 fast charging innovation. it has 2.4GHz/5GHz double band 802.11ac Wi-Fi will offer greater dependability and faster web surfing.

    Keyboard

Chuwi CoreBook attaches magnetically to the keyboard and the hinge has an incredibly smooth action that makes it very versatile. But I also noticed without the ñ button. I bought the stickers to solve it. Nothing influences me. The adjustable keyboard also includes a cover, on the back you can adjust the bracket up to 165 degrees. Similar to the previous Surbook model. The keys are evenly spaced with intermediate gaps, and they are extremely striking and receptive, so they do not feel anything superficial.

    CoreBook Pen

This active optical pen has a pressure of 1024 levels and works very well on the touchscreen, an almost instantaneous response. I never like a pencil, but now I do. It’s easy for me to draw what I want, it helps me a lot.

    Battery

All this is powered by a high-density lithium battery that with 37Wh (10,000 mAh) promises to offer up to 8 hours of Battery, charging by means of a USB 3.0 port with fast charging technology that with 12v / 3A (36W) will take about 3 hours to load in full.

    Conclusion

Chuwi CoreBook takes 7th generation Intel Core M3 Kaby Lake processor, registered at a maximum frequency of 2.6GHz, no doubt with windows 10 OS along with 8GB of RAM on board ensures fluid performance in addition to 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage too. Resumed by Intel HD Graphics 615, it supports 4K videos and 3D games. In general, with the specifications mentioned on board, you should not find any inconvenience with the performance of the tablet. Kindly note that CHUWI is now offering super early bird price on the CoreBook campaign. You can get a CoreBook tablet at a price of $399, and if you want the package with the keyboard and the Pen, you will have to pay $430. Back your CoreBook at.
