    A Buyer’s Guide to Bottom-Filled Atomizers: 8 Essential Tips

In an era dominated by oil leakage and storage issues, the development of new products poses a significant challenge. As people’s lives become more fast-paced and their desire for novel products increases, the emergence of the innovative bottom betting box has captured everyone’s attention. Balancing experience and convenience, the designer put great effort into creating a new gameplay for RDAs—bottom oiling.

With the growing variety of e-liquid flavors, many RDAs now come equipped with a bottom-filling screw in the original package, allowing compatibility with the bottom betting method in addition to top dripping. The introduction of the bottom injection box, also known as BF, not only incorporates an oil storage bottle within the device but also facilitates easy oil dripping onto the atomizer. This offers significant convenience compared to traditional oil storage atomizers and enables seamless transitions between drip and storage modes.

Traditional RDAs employ the direct infusion method to rapidly saturate the cotton with e-liquid, resulting in intense flavor atomization due to the cotton’s high liquid absorption capacity. On the other hand, bottom filling RDAs replace the conventional top drip with bottom seepage. In this approach, the e-liquid seeps from the bottom platform, reaching the cotton and coil, including the length of the oil guideline.

Which type of bottom oil atomizer should be chosen for rebuilding?

Bottom-injection drip atomizers come in two types: single and double, with slight differences in their characteristics. When selecting a bottom-filled oil-drop atomizer, it’s important to consider personal preferences. If you desire more vapor production along with rich flavor, a double-shot atomizer is recommended. However, if you prefer a smaller yet more flavor-packed vapor, a single-shot atomizer should be chosen. In either case, a rebuildable atomizer is necessary to tailor the taste according to your preferences.

What equipment should be selected for a bottom oil atomizer?

The choice of equipment for a bottom injection oil drip atomizer is crucial. Power supply devices for bottom injection can be categorized as mechanical or chip-based. Chip-based bottom oiling devices generally offer better compatibility, but they may lack certain tactile and brand-related aspects. Mechanical bottom injection power supply equipment, on the other hand, is often favored by enthusiasts as it provides balanced power output and includes oil storage functionality. For mechanical devices, it is recommended to pair them with a single-engine bottom oil drip atomizer. With a resistance range of approximately 0.3 to 0.5, a single-engine setup ensures optimal taste and battery life. As for chip-based bottom oil boxes, the requirements are less demanding, and you have a wider range of options. However, keep in mind that such devices tend to be bulkier due to the presence of the oil-filled bottle, battery, and chip, so choose accordingly.

Which type of dripping oil yields the best flavor?

Flavor preferences vary from person to person, but for bottom-filled drip atomizers used with mechanical equipment, single-shot drip atomizers are recommended. These atomizers have a compact chamber with a tight internal structure, resulting in dense vapor production. Double oil dripping also produces excellent flavor but is less convenient for bottom oiling.

What is the battery life like for a bottom oil atomizer with mechanical equipment?

Battery life is a major concern when using mechanical atomizers with bottom injection. Due to the limited power output of single-battery mechanical devices, it is advisable to use a single-engine drip atomizer with a moderate resistance range. The structure and space of a single-engine setup are best suited for resistances between 0.3 and 0.5. Combining a single-battery mechanical bottom injection device with a single-engine atomizer can meet your daily needs effectively.

Choosing between stable usage and experimentation

This topic often puzzles many users: whether to stick to a safe and consistent vaping experience or continue experimenting. It can be compared to the honeymoon period in a relationship, where excitement and experimentation are common. However, after the initial excitement fades, many vapers prefer a stable and reliable vaping routine as part of their daily lives. Engaging in vaping experiences together can create a sense of camaraderie among enthusiasts.

While everyone has their own understanding of e-cigarettes, bottom-filling equipment and atomizers are essential components for experienced vapers. Whether for convenience or actual experience, they meet the needs of most users. Therefore, the choice of matching equipment depends on individual preferences. If you prefer a simple and stable bottom-filling atomizer, a single-shot oil-dripping atomizer is recommended.

Should the cotton cover the bottom platform?

This issue is similar to the traditional top-fill nozzle oil drip method. Although covering the bottom with cotton allows for more e-liquid storage and reduces the frequency of refills, it can cause e-liquid to flow back to the bottom if the cotton is tightly packed. In general, when using the bottom betting method, as long as the cotton extends to an appropriate length, it can guide the e-liquid smoothly to the vicinity of the coil when it comes into contact with the e-liquid seeping from the bottom platform under normal conditions.

What is the taste difference between RDA and RTA?

The terms RDA (Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer) and RTA (Rebuildable Tank Atomizer) refer to different types of atomizers with distinct characteristics. RTAs are predominantly sealed atomization chambers where the e-liquid is stored outside the chamber but in close proximity to it. During usage, the e-liquid can be affected by the heat of the atomization tank, resulting in a somewhat diminished flavor experience. In contrast, RDA’s bottom injection approach involves squeezing the e-liquid directly into the atomizer, with the e-liquid stored in a separate oil storage bottle isolated from the atomization chamber. This method has less impact on the flavor of the e-liquid.

How does a bottom RDA differ from a traditional RDA?

On a less technical level, the atomization effect of both types is similar. However, the speed of dripping e-liquid directly onto the cotton is inherently faster than the absorption process of bottom feeding. Traditional top-injection RDAs are simpler and more straightforward to use. The advantage of bottom filling is the integration of the e-liquid bottle with the device, resulting in an extremely compact and convenient form factor. If a user seeks the full atomization experience of RDAs and values portability, a bottom RDA device would be the preferred choice when on the go. The above information provides insights into the bottom oil atomizer and its features.
