AllCall Rio X seems to have emanated from somewhere in Europe, possibly in Russia, in the month of December 2018. It is a smartphone with 178 degree viewing angle. Amazingly, though the smartphone arrives with scaled back features that only belong to entry-level smartphones, this device boasts of four cameras overall. There are two cameras to the rear and two to the front for selfies. It is a 3G Android device that will be good for school-age kids.
Design And Display
The smartphone arrives with a plastic body but the front has a glass screen. Dimensions are 147.5 x 70.6 x 9.8 mm. Further, it comes in black and gold colors. It is not a water-resistant device, has no fingerprint sensor, and it has no face recognition technology. Screen size is measured in inches, diagonally from corner to corner. The 5.5 inches IPS capacitive touch screen with 480 x 960 px resolution is multitouch capable. Other features include 75.2 percent screen to body ratio, 2.5D curved glass, and 178-degree viewing angle.
There is dual primary camera setup of 13 MP plus 2 MP f/2.2 aperture to the rear, which comes with dual LED flash. Also, to the front, the dual camera setup is 5 MP plus 2 MP. The front cameras, made for selfies are not equipped with LED flash option. However, video performance is 720p@25fps of FHD recording. In the same manner, other outstanding features of the cameras are geotagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, time lapse, autofocus and more.
Hardware And Software
Android OS v8.1 Oreo comes with AllCall Rio X as the operating system. Thus, this device must be able to upgrade to the latest Android if need be at the due time. Also, MediaTek MT6580M accompanies it, together with process technology 28nm and 32-bit architecture. The CPU comprises of 1.3 GHz Quad-core Cortex A7, while the GPU is Mali 400 MP2.
Storage Capacity And Sensors
For the device, there is a meager internal memory 1GB of RAM that cannot be increased. However, the 8GB of internal storage can be increased up to 256GB external storage with a micro-SD card. Accelerometer, proximity, and light are the three sensors found on the AllCall Rio X as with other devices of same specs.
Network And Connectivity
This is a 3G Android phone which means that it operates effectively on GSM and HSPA network. In other words, 2G and 3G are usable in the smartphone. Also, for easy operation, there are two micro SIM card slots in the device. It cannot operate with hybrid SIM cards. Other relevant components are Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, headphone jack, and micro USB 2.0. However, there is no HDMI, NFC, or infrared in the device.

Powering the device is an effective Li-Po 2850 mAh non-removable battery which does not come with wireless charging nor with fast charging technology either. Standby time for the AllCall Rio X is up to 168 hours.
