The two major markets are the mobile and the tablet. For some reason, the tablet market is not that popular. This means less models to choose and makes it more difficult for companies to stand out. So companies have to find something that would make their tablet to stand out. Like the latest tablet from Alldocube, that is perhaps the only tablet below 300$ that has a features like fingerprint sensor, which usually find at much more expensive tablets. Of course, comes with really good specs and design. The company send me one to check, the Alldocube X. With it came and their latest earphones, F40 that wotk perfectly with the sound chip of the Alldocube X.
The Alldocube X tablet came to me with post. Opening the package came across a big black box, with a beautiful design outside and a smaller box which contained the F40 earphones. The data on the Alldocube X box where little, basically from a sticker on the side and a logo of Super AMOLED on the top of the box, since the screen of Alldocube X is Super AMOLED.
Opening the box, inside you will find the tablet, a pin for the cart of the TF card, a manual in english, a EU plug, a full lenght cable with Type C for transfering data and charging the tablet. The tablet had also a protective film attached on it, so you have it well protected.
The tablet is very thin with dimensions 257 x 179 x 6.4 mm and weights just 496 g. On the front is white and on the back you will see it as silver. The metal unibody chassis is very smooth. The 10.5″ Super AMOLED screen with 2560×1600 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and 287 pixels-per-inch, has the most vivid colors I have ever seen in a tablet due to the Super AMOLED. It also features over 600 lux max brightness and fully laminated, which makes it viewable in bright environments.
For proccesor, the Alldocube X uses the MediaTek MT8176, with 2 x Cortex A72 @ 2.1 GHz and 4 x Cortex A53 @ 1.6 GHz. For GPU has the IMG PowerVR GX6250, an 28nm chip which it might be a little old, but still does a very good job. The CPU with the 2 cores at 2.1GHz, can handle tough jobs to carrie out! Comes with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64 GB eMMC. It supports also an external TF card up to 128GB to place. Alldocube X comes with preinstalled Android 8.1 Oreo.
Alldocube X features double camera, one at the front and one at the rear at 8MP resolution both. Comes with dual Speaker 1W*2. It supports dual WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/AC (2.4GHz+5GHz) and Bluetooth 4.1. It has also earphones plug at the side and the most important that I have found it only in the X, a fingerprint sensor. On the top you will see the hole for the cart for the TF card. Also finfd the type C slot for the cable for data and charging it.
Other info about the Alldocube X, Youtube runs up to 1440p! Just for the record, iPad Pro runs at 1080p! The Alldocube has a 30 Wh battery 8000mAh that can last about 5.5 hours. If you see the video, you will see that the info from the system is worse than reallity. Alldocube should have a check on it, as the battery for sure lasts more! The fingerprint reader that is placed on the side works pretty well. Takes about a sec to activate the tablet, without you bnefore to have activated the screen. Speakers are better than the typical tablets I have reviewed. As for gaming abilities, sinc I’m sure that many of you play PBUG, it runs smoothly enough to be playable. Alldocube X doesn’t feature GPS.
With the Alldocube X, the company send me and their latest earphone F40. F40 earphones are wired in ear earphones. Come with mic and two pairs to replace the one on the earphones so to fit better in your ear. The black box that contains them, has several info written on it about the earphones. The F40 are wired earphones with 1.2m long cable. Supports noise reduction and features control button for the mic. Freqency Response is 20Hz – 20kHz and the impedance is 16Ω. The sound that comes out is very clear and very good! The F40 features three dynamic drivers and one separate balanced armature.
