A reviewer has already submitted information about AMD’s Ryzen 7 7700X processor in CPU-Z, and this 8-core CPU looks good.
According to the performance, all Octa cores of the 7700X can run up to 5425MHz, which is 25MHz higher than the official figure.
The 7700X has 105W TDP compared to 65W of the previous generation CPU, supports AVX512 instruction set, uses the latest 5nm process, Zen4 microarchitecture, DDR5 memory and PCIe Gen5 protocol.
On the Gijia X670E AORUS Master motherboard based on DDR5-6400 CL30 memory, the R7 7700X scored 774 points in the CPU-Z single-threaded test and 8381 points in the multi-threaded test.
For comparison, the new processor’s single-core performance is 21% faster than the R7 5800X (8-core Zen3), 20% faster than the R9 5950X (16-core Zen3), and 1% better than the Core I5-12600K, beating the I7-12700K.
In terms of multithreading performance, the R7 7700X outperforms the I9-12900K (16 cores, 24 threads) by 1%, the I7-12700K by 8%, and the R7 5800X by 28%, beating the I9-12900KF.
The R7 7700X single-multi-core, based on the Asus ROG Crosshair X670E Hero and 64GB DDR5-6000 memory configuration, ran 2209 and 14,459 in the Geekbench database. By this calculation, its single-core performance directly exceeds the level of I7-12700K by about 16%.
It is worth mentioning that the I9-12900K has a single core score ranging from 1800 to 2200 in Geekbench, while the highest score of I9-12900KF is about 3000. For the current CPU-Z and Geekbench scores, there is currently a group of users arguing with each other.
According to the data previously given by foreign media WccfTech, the single core of R7 7700X outperforms the previous generation R7 5800X by 25% and the multi-core outperforms the previous generation R7 5800X by 26%. Compared to Intel models, the R7 7700X outperforms the I7-12700K for single cores and the I5-12600K for multiple cores.
The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X will be available alongside three other Ryzen 7000 series cpus on September 27, with the new processor and X670 motherboard expected to be unbanned on September 26.
