Android 13 Beta 2 Official: Here Is the Full List of Supported Devices


During the opening conference of Google I/O 2022, this Wednesday (11), the second beta version of Android 13 was released. Finally, it will be possible to test the new operating system outside the Pixel smartphone range. Because the Mountain View company has decided to release this second Beta also for other devices in addition to the ‘canonical’ Google Pixel smartphones. And let’s talk about phones like Oppo Find X5 Pro and many others.

Android 13 Beta 2 is therefore officially available for all developers or for those who want to install it on their smartphone if this is supported. In this case, the list of devices that will be able to afford to try the novelties of the new operating system are:

Besides, Google Android 13 Beta 2 comes with a series of innovations that are above all at the code level and therefore a little hidden and less evident to the end-user. Here they are all:

  • Simplified app-specific language support.
  • Improved the synchronization of app icons with the system theme.
  • The standard for HDR, Bluetooth LE Audio, and MIDI 2.0 content management on USB has been standardized.
  • Improvements for managing content on devices larger than smartphones.

By following the instructions proposed, it will be possible to join the beta program and therefore receive the OTA update for this Beta 2 of Android 13, as well as for all subsequent versions.

We remind you that Google provides at least one beta version per month until July and subsequently the stable version of the operating system will be released.
