Igeekphone reported on May 9th that the host of the YouTube channel “Front Page Tech”, Jon Prosser, released a video yesterday (May 8th) showcasing the appearance of Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max phones.
In terms of appearance, sources say that the Apple iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max basically follow the existing design. The focus is on adjusting the dynamic island on the front, and it is estimated that the size will be reduced by approximately 25% compared to the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, achieving a more immersive full-screen experience.

In terms of imaging, it is estimated that the Apple iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will incorporate a variable aperture design. This design will dynamically adjust the amount of light entering the camera based on the shooting scenario. For example, in a bright environment, the iPhone will suppress the highlights; while in a dim environment, it can increase the light intake and help control the depth of field.

In terms of buttons, the Apple iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max may simplify the interaction of camera control buttons, retaining pressure sensing but no longer providing a capacitive touch layer.
In terms of battery life, the iPhone 18 Pro Max will be equipped with a 5200mAh battery, and it is possible to last for a full day even under heavy usage conditions.

In terms of connectivity, the two Pro models are also said to be equipped with a new C2 baseband and support Satellite 5G. The key point is to enhance the connection capabilities in areas with weak coverage.
