This week, Asus announced the launch of ROG 5S and ROG 5S Pro gaming phones.
The main changes are as follows: First, the snapdragon 888 Plus chip is upgraded; second, the touch sampling rate is increased from 300Hz to 360Hz; and the touch delay is reduced from 24ms.
According to Qualcomm, the 888 Plus has a 3GHz frequency and a 20% increase in AI computing performance.
The main difference between the 5S and 5S Pro lies in the back, which has a POLED color screen, two sets of touch sensors and an air-cooled back clip that comes with the package.
Other configurations remain the same as the first generation, including a 6.78-inch 144Hz display, a 6000mAh battery (65W fast charge), dual USB 3.1 Gen2 ports on the side and bottom (support DP 1.4 signal transmission), and a reserved 3.5mm headphone jack.
About its storage, it starts 8GB+128GB, Pro version up to 18GB RAM+512GB ROM combination.
