ASUS ZenFone Live (L1) Smartphone On Android Go Started To Sell In US For $110

Without any notice, Asus on 6 August launched the Asus ZenFone Live (L1) which also is its first Android Oreo Go-Edition smartphone, and it packs 1GB of RAM with 16GB internal storage. Now, this phone is available and can be obtained exclusively at Best Buy in the US.

Asus ZenFone Live (L1) offers a 5.5-inch IPS display but has the same size as a standard 5-inch smartphone. This is made possible by the adoption of an Asus Full View HD + display (720p) with an aspect ratio of 18: 9 that not only makes it wider, clearer and brighter (up to 400 nits), but also allows you to adapt to a frame much smaller than a standard display. The result is a larger screen, but with less space.

ZenFone Live (L1) is based on a Snapdragon 425 processor, a model a little faster than the low-end SoC MediaTek that have been chosen by almost all brands for their Go devices. There is only 1GB of RAM since it is the maximum allowed for using Android Go. There are 16GB of internal memory, expandable via microSD up to 2TB.

This Zenfone Live L1 Android Go is equipped with an 8 MP resolution main camera that is equipped with supporting features such as phase detection autofocus and LED flash. While for the front camera has a resolution of 5 MP camera that can be used for selfie needs, video calls or record video with 1080p @ 30fps quality.

This Smartphone features a 3000mAh battery which allows up to 29 hours of talk time in 3G, up to 4 days of music playback, 42 days of standby time and 18 hours of web surfing in Wi-Fi. Some supporting connectivity features such as dual-SIM support (both at a time supports 4G) and the Face Unlock function for unlocking the smartphone without hands. As mentioned, the operating system is Android 8.1 Go Edition, but that gives way to the proprietary Asus ZenUI interface.

The Asus ZenFone Live (L1) is available in four colors, midnight black, space blue, shimmer gold and rose pink, but currently on the midnight black is up for sale, and only in the US.
