It has been confirmed that Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi that now works independently, is working on a flagship smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. A few hours ago Lu Weibing has written a new publication on the Weibo social network showing us a screenshot made in this new device and then attach a picture of what we assume is the one on your smartphone. But the most interesting part is just above, or where you read “Redmi’s Flagship Android“, so in fact, this message was shared by the device whose official name we don’t yet know.
In particular, although at first glance the screenshot does not show us many details, nothing is further from reality. And, if you look at its top, all notification icons, such as the battery, networks, etc. They are located on the right side of this.
This new detail could hint that finally it will be a mobile device without notch and therefore, the front camera will be housed in a system never before seen and that could be the famous camera retractable.
Another assumption is that this new Redmi flagship has a notch drilled on the screen, located on the left and top of the terminal. An assumption that although it is much less likely, we must take it into account as a possibility until the design of this awaited and longed for Redmi is finally revealed.
Not long ago, in fact, a Chinese user shared what would appear to be the protective film of the device. From the information on it, it is clear that the new model is called Redmi K20 Pro. The device should power the currently most powerful Snapdragon 855 processor with 7nm technology, which is already officially known.
The photo also confirms the use of a triple rear camera. The main scanner will offer a 48MP resolution, while others should come with 13MP and 8MP. The front 20MP camera should be placed in the pull-out module.
The front of the Redmi Flagship will form an AMOLED screen without cut diagonal 6.39 inches. The fact that the display will be cut out is also confirmed by the shape of the leaked film. On older phones with display cutouts, these cutouts also have transparencies. Battery information indicates a capacity of 4000mAh with 27W charging. In addition, it is said that the machine also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports full-featured NFC.
