The evolution of technology tends to make each new release better and smaller than its predecessor. At the point where we are today, few people want a large CPU on their desk considering that the use they give to their computer can be normal, not to mention gamers or video editing professionals, for instance. Mini PCs are an increasingly demanded solution, and if at first, they were teams that put small size before power, now we can see some models that do not skimp on performance. An example of this is the Chuwi RZBOX, which goes on sale in a few weeks but, since it was unveiled, has captured the eyes of many people. The new RZBOX Mini PC comes equipped with the best components which makes it the perfect computer for anyone.
The Chuwi RZBox is now in crowdfunding directly on the Chuwi site at a price of $499 in barebone version and $649 in 16GB version of DDR4 and 512GB of PCIe NVMe SSD.
Probably the strongest aspect of the vast majority of Chuwi devices is their exceptional compactness. This is no different from the latest Chuwi RZBOX. Thanks to the dimensions of only 18.8 cm x 17.8 cm, it can be placed even on the smallest office desk. However, it is not a traditional mini PC cube without a design flair, but also a visually attractive device. The all-metal body with cooling holes and the combination of two dark colors definitely take the design of the device to a completely different level.
Of course, the manufacturer does not rely mostly on the design of the device, but on its hardware aspects and especially uncompromising performance. Therefore, we find in the device the popular AMD Ryzen 9 4900H processor using 8 cores and 16 threads. In normal use, the processor operates at a base frequency of 3.3 GHz, but if more power is required, a turbo frequency of up to 4.4 GHz is also available.
However, these are not just rough technical parameters and numbers; as the processor achieves extremely good results even in stress tests. Looking at the results of the processor; it can be ranked among the 10% most powerful processors on the market, which really cannot be said of every “more powerful” CPU on the market. However, CPU performance is not the only aspect that heats up device hardware. Along its side, there is also a seasoned graphics chip Radeon Vega 8 using the latest 7 nm production process. Thanks to it, users can rely on the guaranteed performance, whether for graphics applications or the latest game titles.
However, the “bloated” hardware does not end at the processor and graphics chip but continues across the entire device. This is because different performance versions with 8 GB to 16 GB DDR4 RAM should be available. These should be available in configurations with 256 GB and 512 GB internal NVMe SSD storage, respectively. There should also be the latest standards such as a network card with Wi-Fi 6 support, or great connectivity to guarantee multitasking and multifunctionality of the device.
The Chuwi RZBOX comes with Windows 10 installed as standard, but the firm confirms that it will soon update to Windows 11; so you can enjoy all the news of this new operating system. It has DDR4 memory support of up to 32 GB and in terms of connectivity; in addition to WiFi and several ports; we also have Bluetooth 5.2 in it. The integrated operating system will be Windows 10 Home; with the possibility of upgrading to the latest Windows 11 version and with Portuguese language support.
The Chuwi RZBOX Mini PC is now available on the official Chuwi’s Store for $499.99/€428.99. All information is available on the product page. You still have a chance to enter the competition for 1 of 10 Chuwi RZBOX mini computers.
