Igeekphone reported on June 10th that DJI today released the DJI Matrice 400 industry-level flight platform, claiming it to be the pinnacle of industry-level flagships in the past five years.
One of the most prominent features of the new aircraft is its ultra-long battery life. After installing a load, it can fly forward for 59 minutes and hover for 53 minutes. It supports high-speed obstacle avoidance at a speed of 25 meters per second and is suitable for long-term operations such as search and rescue and firefighting.
It supports an omnidirectional obstacle avoidance system, equipped with a circumferential lidar + millimeter-wave radar + full-color low-light fisheye vision sensor, capable of detecting tiny obstacles. It can operate through rain and fog at night and support safe return in complex scenarios.
The O4 image Transmission Industry Enhanced Edition can transmit up to 40 kilometers. The ten-antenna system combined with the relay module expands the operation range in mountainous areas and other obstructed environments.
There are also exclusive optimizations for industry scenarios. For instance, in maritime scenarios, it supports dynamic ship take-offs and landings, solving problems such as narrow decks and hull swaying by recognizing the patterns on the ship’s deck.
To address the pain points of power inspection, the M400 is equipped with a 360° rotatable starlight-level night vision pan-tilt, combined with an AI insulator defect recognition system, achieving a night detection accuracy of 98%.
In the maintenance scenario of communication base stations, its modular design supports the rapid replacement of loads such as lidar and gas detectors, with a maximum load capacity of 2.7kg.
Supports AR and intelligent detection. The thermal imaging model detection supports statistics of targets such as vehicles and ships. A single photo can detect 1,000 targets. Intelligent AR projects onto the remote control screen to display obstacles, building names and flight trajectories in real time, assisting in precise operations.
It has an efficient route planning capability, supporting real-time ground-following flight in any horizontal direction. The efficiency of slope/geometric route planning has been improved by 60% compared to the previous generation.
In terms of load, up to 7 loads can be hung. The third pan-tilt bracket can bear a load of 6 kilograms. The 4 E-Port V2 interfaces support official/third-party devices (such as the Miaosuan 3 computing power platform).
DJI Matrice 400 is now open for reservation to industry users worldwide. The standard package (including the remote control, dual batteries and basic sensors) is priced at 77,115 yuan.
Dji has also simultaneously launched a customized service package, which includes exclusive insurance, technical training and 7× 24-hour emergency support. The first batch of orders is expected to be delivered in August.
