The system provides photographers with a powerful and comprehensive focus solution, claiming to open a new era of man-machine collaborative focus control.
It is understood that the DJI Focus Pro consists of three parts, which are the focus motor, the LiDAR rangefinder and the control hand wheel or handle.
Among them, the LiDAR human focal distance has been upgraded to 20 meters, about 3 times that of the previous generation, which is easy to cope with telephoto lens shooting. The range points have been upgraded to 76,800, an increase of 77% over the previous generation, making character edge recognition more accurate.
With the new AI algorithm, LiDAR can identify people and vehicles more stably. Even if the character is briefly obscured, LiDAR can quickly retrieve it.
For multi-person scenes, DJI Focus Pro can also quickly switch focus between multiple subjects.
It also supports AMF mode, in which automatic focus is performed and the front dial or focus handwheel of the handle rotates in sync, photographers can both observe the focus state through the monitor screen and get the focus feedback through the touch, enjoying easy focus creation.
The Focus Pro handwheel damping is stepless and adjustable in real time. The DJI Focus Pro motor supports one-key frequency matching with the handwheel, and the focus follower can control the focus, focus segment and aperture of the lens in a leisurely manner, making team collaboration more efficient.
In addition, photographers can get LiDAR oscilloscope tracking assistance through the DJI image transmission highlight monitor. The LiDAR oscilloscope can also provide auxiliary information such as the main body, real-time focal plane prompt line and distance scale to help accurately control the focus.
