Flyme 8 Beta Update Adds More Models Adapt to TWS + Mode


Today, Flyme announced an update of Flyme 8 in the Meizu community. This is a beta system update and the package’s designation is In addition to fixing several bugs, the new Flyme 8 beta update brings True Wireless Stereo (TWS) mode for Bluetooth connectivity for Meizu 16Xs, 16T and Note 9 devices.

Through TWS to experience listening with low latency and with better audio quality.  This function is also working by default for all smartphones that support it. Apart, this update also brings support for long-press key lock screen and Aicy overview in mBack mode.

  • Meizu 16Xs, Meizu 16T and Meizu Note 9 adapt to TWS + mode, use a wireless Bluetooth headset to experience low latency and smoother sound quality
  • Path: The function is default enable. Use TWS + headset directly.

Navigation and shortcuts

  • Under mBack mode, long-press the main key to lock the screen, the one-button lock screen is more convenient
  • Path: Settings _ Navigation and Quick Operation _ Navigation Method _ mBcak_ Long press the main key to lock the screen
  • Supported models: Meizu 16s Pro, Meizu 16s, Meizu 16th Plus, Meizu 16th, and Meizu 16X

Aicy Overview

Optimize the browsing effect of the card management page, distinguish the added status, and make the operation clearer


  • Update Android security patches to improve phone security
  • Fixed: The problem of crashing when setting privacy applications
  • Fixed: The phenomenon that the third-party application icon on the desktop becomes larger
  • Solved: The problem that the input method keyboard cannot automatically collapse after closing the small window
  • Solve the problem that the QQ chat interface toolbar cannot be click in small window mode
