iGEEKPHONE News: Google has officially sent out media invitations, confirming that the 2026 Made by Google hardware launch event will be held in New York on August 12th. The live broadcast will start at 6 p.m. Eastern Time (6 a.m. Beijing Time on August 13th). The invitation letter first unveiled the new device’s appearance with a golden metal body rendering, maintaining the straight frame and horizontal camera module design.

This press conference will introduce four new models of the Pixel 11 series at one time: the standard Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold. All models are equipped with the new-generation Tensor G6 processor, using the TSMC 2nm process technology, and for the first time, 256GB is set as the starting storage capacity, completely eliminating the 128GB version.

The Pro model is said to be equipped with a concealed Pixel Glow RGB lighting module, which is used for notification of incoming calls and status alerts for AI tasks.

The storage upgrade is driven by an overall price increase across the entire range. European sources reveal that each model has generally risen by approximately 100 euros compared to the previous generation – the starting price of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold 256GB version reaches 1999 euros (about 15,536 yuan). The continuous surge in the cost of storage chips is the main reason. Google has followed Apple’s strategy of “eliminating low-end models” to indirectly raise prices, while simplifying its product line.
In addition to the mobile phone, the event will also introduce two sizes of Pixel Watch 5 and the new generation of Pixel Buds Pro, completing the full ecosystem product update.
