Igeekphone 1/15: On January 15th, the official of Honor mobile announced that Honor Magic8 RSR with Porsche Design features the industry’s highest CIPA 6.5-level stabilization technology and supports a brand-new telephoto lens professional imaging kit.
The Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Design will be officially launched at 19:30 on January 19th. This is the top flagship model of the Honor Magic8 series.
According to relevant reports, the Porsche Design version of the Honor Magic8 RSR continues the hardware foundation of the Magic8 series and is equipped with a 200-megapixel telephoto camera. Previously, the Honor Magic8 Pro already had this 200-megapixel sensor and achieved CIPA 5.5-level stabilization. This RSR version further enhances the stabilization level to CIPA 6.5, through higher hardware and algorithm coordination accuracy, improving the image stability during handheld shooting, especially for long focal length and night scene shooting experiences.
Meanwhile, Honor announced the launch of the “Telephoto Lens Professional Imaging Kit”, which is compatible with both the Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Design and the Honor Magic8 Pro models. The kit components include a professional imaging protective case, a magnetic grip, and a 2.35x telephoto extension lens. By installing this telephoto lens, users can achieve physical optical zoom extension and achieve equivalent 200mm telephoto shooting capabilities.
According to relevant reports, the Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Design will be equipped with a 7200mAh Qinghai Lake battery, supporting 120W wired super-fast charging and 80W wireless super-fast charging. In terms of design, this device is jointly created by Honor and Porsche Design, incorporating the streamlined contours of a Porsche sports car and offering two color options: Moon Gem and Slate Grey Neo. In other aspects, the Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Design features a 6.71-inch 1.5K LTPO display, emphasizing 3D ultrasonic fingerprint + 3D face recognition, and supports IP68/IP69/IP69K dust and water resistance.
The Porsche Design and Honor Magic8 Pro Air models will make their official debut at the event on January 19th evening. At that time, the official will announce the exact prices and release details.
