Huawei and Honor Models List That Have Received the EMUI 9.1 Update

0

At the beginning of the year, Huawei said that EMUI 9.1, the new version of its Android-based software, would reach a total of almost 50 devices in its catalog. The months have passed, and from that first moment, the company is on its way to fulfilling its promise. Today, there are already several terminals, both Honor and Huawei, which have received the expected update.

The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro announced at the beginning of the year were the first to arrive with EMUI 9.1 inside, and show the world the news that this new version incorporated. From that moment, the rest of the terminals in the Huawei catalog have been following the steps of the P30 series.

Next, we provide a list of the terminals where the new version can already be installed – in some cases, the update may have begun deployment recently, and therefore it is likely that it has not yet made its landing in all countries -, not counting those that have already been released to the market with this edition of the software.

Procedure to install EMUI 9.1

To update one of the compatible mobiles to EMUI 9.1, it is usually enough to check if there are updates available for the terminal through the system settings. If so, the update will begin downloading automatically. However, from Huawei Central, they offer us another method to download and install EMUI 9.1 if available. These are the steps to follow.

Open the HiCare application and log in to your account. Choose your region and accept the privacy policies, Access the updates section and click on request update and Check for updates, and if so, download and install the new version of EMUI 9.1.
