On August 26, huawei overseas website first revealed EMUI 12 system’s main features: including simple UI design, rich dynamic effect and word weight adjustment, new control panel, the new notification center, equipment + intelligent collaboration, distributed file systems, across equipment MeeTime video calls, more excellent performance experience, enhance safety protection, etc.
As you can see, EMUI 12 inherits a number of innovative and well-received feature points from the Hongmeng system.

Unfortunately, the upgrade hasn’t been announced yet, and it looks like EMUI 12 will be mainly targeted at overseas users who rely heavily on Android’s bottom tier. Huawei Mate 40 series is used in the demo, and it’s not hard to guess that it will be the first to get an upgrade, including Huawei P40 series, Mate 30 series, etc.
