Huawei/Honor Officially Announces Its Smartphones That Will Be Updated to Android Q

With the announcement of the beta 3 of Android 10 Q by Google, many brands have joined the test car. Even Huawei, for the first time, has collaborated with Google to offer beta versions for one of its Smartphones.

But of course, this does not mean that only that will be updated. The company has published an image in which we see the models that are confirmed will receive the update. This does not mean that they are the only ones but that we can update them.

If we look at the models in the image, we will check that they are all high-end terminals:

  • Huawei Mate 20.
  • Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
  • Huawei Mate 20 X.
  • Huawei Mate 20 Porsche Edition.
  • Huawei P30.
  • Huawei P30 Pro.
  • Honor V20.
  • Honor Magic 2

As usual, it will be the most expensive mobiles that first receive the update, but we are sure there will be more. For example, in a few days, Honor will present the Honor 20, and I’m sure that even though it will come with Android 9 as standard, it will be updated to Android Q like the ones that appear in the image we publish.

Keep in mind that reference is made to the EMUI version in China, although it is expected that these same models will be updated in Europe, except for mobiles that are not sold in our continent, such as the Honor Magic 2, which has not had international distribution.

We do not know yet the dates on which these models can start using the new functions of Android 10 as the dark mode but at least we must wait later this year but at the beginning of next.
