The three tablets are MatePad 11.5 2025, MatePad Air 12 2025 and MatePad Pro 12.2 2025 respectively.
Among them, the Huawei MatePad 11.5 will be equipped with the Kirin 8020 chip, support StarFlash technology, feature an 11.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2456×1600, support a 120Hz refresh rate, have a built-in 10100mAh battery, and support 40W fast charging.

The Huawei MatePad Air 12 features a 12-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2800×1840 and supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The blogger speculates that it will be equipped with the Kirin 9 series chip.
As Huawei’s flagship tablet, the MatePad Pro 12.2 will be equipped with the Kirin 9020A, support satellite communication, feature a 12.2-inch 2.8K Tandem OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, have a built-in 10100mAh battery, be equipped with 100W fast charging, and support Wi-Fi 7 and StarFlash.
It is understood that the Kirin 9020A is a downclocked version of the Kirin 9020, which was previously first equipped on the Huawei Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition.
The CPU specifications of the Kirin 9020A are 1*2.40GHz+3*2.00GHz+4*1.60GHz.
The Kirin 9020 operates at 1*2.50GHz+3*2.15GHz+4*1.60GHz. Besides the frequency reduction of the super-large cores and small cores, the Maleoon 920 GPU has also been downgraded from 4cu to 3cu.
According to Huawei, the Mate 70 Pro has a 40% performance improvement over the Mate 60 Pro, and the Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition has a 35% performance improvement over the Mate 60 Pro.
This performance difference is almost imperceptible in daily use and will not affect users’ usage.
