Huawei MateBook X 2021 has been on sale recently, which is now powered by the 11th Generation Core i5-1130G7 Processor and it also supports Huawei’s multi-screen sharing function, and files can be transferred to each other at will. Currently, the users can buy its 16+512GB Storage variant at 8999 yuan ($1400).
According to the official introduction, the new Matebook X 2021 got dimensions about 284.4×206.7×13.6mm and weighed only 1.0 kg, providing an excellent portability experience. The overall laptop body is made up of aluminum and provides a matte finish; only the logo area comes with a shiny surface.
This laptop features a 13-inch screen, which is an LTPS LCD Touch Display packed with 3K+ (3000x2000p) resolution with 278PPI. In terms of display colors, the screen also has a 100% sRGB color gamut. Besides, its display has many highlights like a 3:2 aspect ratio, 90% screen-to-body ratio, 400 nits display brightness, and 178 degrees wide viewing angle.
The Huawei MateBook X 2021 is powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1030G7 Processor, based on the 10nm SuperFin process. The chipset features four cores, eight threads, and 8MB cache memory. It is also equipped with Intel Iris Xe GPU. Not only that, the 16GB LPDDR4x (3733MHz) RAM and 512GB NVMe SSD also taking the performance of the notebook to another level.
Thanks to the same style keyboard as in the previous model (2020), this notebook providing the same comfortable typing experience. Furthermore, the Huawei Matebook X 2021 comes with a new sensitive pressure touchpad, which senses the pressure feedback and making its experience more decent.
The battery capacity of the notebook is 42Wh, and it is equipped with a 65W power adapter. The officials didn’t reveal anything regarding the battery timing. Further, the laptop can only be charged through the Type-C port. The laptop features 2x Type-C ports, which are still not sufficient but cover almost every big operation.
The notebook now comes with many new features providing a smoother UI experience. Sharing files has also become very easy between Huawei devices due to the all-new built-in Huawei Share feature.
The new Matebook X 2021 is also equipped with four high and low-frequency crossover speakers, which provide clear treble, deep bass, sound waves flow randomly in order to make the sound experience-rich and pure. Another major highlight is that the notebook features a noise-less heat dissipation system for flawless working.
It is worth mentioning that the Huawei MateBook X 2021 is available in three different color options: Frost Silver, Interstellar Blue, and Green Hills. Every color would provide slightly different colors from different angles.
