The Huawei Nova 8i, originally announced in July, has now arrived in Europe and is available from the official Huawei Germany webshop or from Amazon Germany for 349€ in the version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
There is also a pre-order promotion, all those who order will receive a pair of FreeBuds 4i earphones for free. Deliveries are expected to begin on October 19th. The Huawei Nova 8i is available in the colors Moonlight Silver and Starry Black.
When Nova 8i enters the market, it may come with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ resolution IPS LCD display. Covering the DCI-P3 color gamut, this panel is accompanied by second-generation blue light protection. The phone has very thin bezels and thus offers a screen-to-body ratio of 94.7%.
The Huawei Nova 8i is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 662 chipset. It is 4300mAh in size. The phone, which carries a battery with a 66W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging feature, has a quad rear camera unit.
The main camera uses a 1/1.7” 64MP sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. The ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree viewing angle is 8MP. The phone also features 2MP depth and 2MP macro cameras.
The Huawei Nova 8i, which comes out of the box with Android 10-based EMIUI 11, does not have Google applications and services. Further technical data include a fingerprint sensor attached to the side. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0 with A2DP, and LE are also included in the scope of delivery, as is a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB Type C port.
