Huawei P50 CAD Image Leaked: Centered Perforated Screen

Huawei will hold a P50 series new product launch conference in May. Earlier the news broke @OnLeaks announced the renderings of Huawei P50 Basic Edition and Huawei P50 Pro.

Now a Weibo blogger @WHYLAB has exposed the CAD images of the Huawei P50 Standard Edition, which shows the content contained in the huge “module”, with four rear cameras and a centered perforated display.

Huawei P50 will use a 6.3-inch flat screen, a center single-hole front lens; the whole machine is about 156.7 x 74 x 8.3 mm (with the upper camera raised, it is 10.6 mm), so the P50 body is larger than P40 (P40 body size is 148.9 x 71.06 x 8.5 mm).

The design of the Huawei P50 is simpler than that of Pro. It is also equipped with a rear panel made of glass and a slightly arched metal frame with a more traditional and simpler design. It is reported that Huawei P50 is slightly thicker than HuaweiP50 Pro, and the chin is also larger.

According to the news, HuaweiP50 Pro uses a 6.6-inch centered perforated screen with a slightly curved edge, a very narrow frame, and a very narrow chin. It uses a glass back panel and a metal frame with flat upper and lower edges. The size of the machine is 159 x 73 x 8.6mm (the thickness of the rear camera is 10.3mm if the rear camera is included). The machine also uses a fingerprint sensor under the display, dual speakers up and down, and supports infrared remote control.

According to previous reports, some overseas sources broke the news that the last prototype design of the Huawei P50 series has been confirmed and is now ready for mass production. The HuaweiP50 series includes three models: the basic version, P50 Pro and P50 Pro+. The selling points include screen quality, a new ultra-sensitive rear camera system, and new gaming features. In addition, HuaweiP50 is expected to be equipped with HiSilicon Kirin 9000E chips, while the two higher-end models are Kirin 9000 chips.
