In March 2025, Huawei released the Pura X, which is the industry’s first foldable phone in the “wide folding” form.
Nowadays, the successor product of Huawei Pura X is in the planning stage. A digital blogger has revealed the appearance design and core specifications of this device.
According to the leaked renderings, Huawei Pura X2 basically maintains the body proportions of the Huawei Pura X, but the size of the external screen has significantly increased. The rear camera module adopts a horizontal design, including 3 to 4 cameras. The flash is separate from the lens module, and the back design of the device is quite simple.

In terms of core configuration, the Huawei Pura X2 will be equipped with Huawei’s self-developed Kirin processor. The internal screen has a 16:10 aspect ratio and expands to over 7 inches when unfolded. The rear camera can capture photos with a maximum resolution of 2 billion pixels. The hinge adopts some of the same technologies as Huawei Mate X7.
We offer multiple versions including 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, 16GB + 1TB, 20GB + 512GB, and 20GB + 1TB, all running the Huawei HarmonyOS 6.1 operating system.
In contrast, the Huawei Pura X features a 6.3-inch internal screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 3.5-inch square external screen with a 1:1 aspect ratio. It has a triple rear camera (a 50-megapixel main camera + a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera + an 8-megapixel telephoto camera) and supports the Red Maple imaging system.
It is equipped with a 4720mAh battery, supporting 66W wired fast charging and 40W wireless fast charging. The starting price is 7499 yuan.
