Huawei Watch 3 Is Expected to be Released On May 19

Huawei officially announced recently that it will hold a full-scene smart life new product launch conference on May 19. According to previous leaks, many products will be launched this time, including watch 4X, scale 3 Pro,  MateBook 16, etc. According to the latest news from related digital bloggers, Huawei will also launch a new Huawei Watch 3.

The leaks revealed that Huawei Watch 3 has not changed much in appearance. It still uses a round dial design and comes in 42mm and 46mm versions with a silicone strap suitable for sports and a more fashionable leather strap. So, it can be used in different scenarios.

In terms of functions, this is the top priority of the Huawei Watch 3 upgrade. It is reported that the device will be equipped with a brand-new Hongmeng OS system, which will not only have a new UI design but also bring a more powerful application market and support many Three-party APP installations expands more abundant functions for the watch.

At the same time, Huawei Watch 3 will also add an eSIM communication function, support a 4G network connection and call. So it can be completely separated from the Smartphone for independent use, more suitable for the positioning of smartwatches.

It is worth mentioning that Huawei has also recently pushed new firmware for the old Watch GT2, added a number of new features, and for the first time supports downloading and replacing the new watch face from the sports health application of the iOS mobile phone.

This update also seems to prove that Huawei’s full-scene layout will be more open, and the Huawei Watch 3 equipped with Hongmeng OS is expected to achieve closer integration with the iOS system, which may help Huawei absorb some Apple users in the future.
