Huawei Watch GT 2 Arrives on September 19th With Kirin A1


Huawei will introduce the newest members of the Mate family with a launch on 19 September in Munich, Germany. Watch GT 2 is another product expected to be introduced in this launch. Today, company made an official announcement by posting a video on Weibo.

The clip does not reveal any details about the Watch GT 2 other than the smartwatch that will use the newly announced chipset for Kirin A1 wearable devices.

Previously, Roland Quandt revealed some aesthetic features of Huawei’s new wearable. The new smartwatch will have a compact design and thinner frames. The screen will be bigger than previous products. Thus we can verify from the first photos that show us the device in an unofficial way.

The technical features of this smartwatch are striking. It will have the Kirin A1 processor, capable of guaranteeing very high performance. But what are the other technical features of Huawei Watch GT 2?

The product will have a 445mAh battery, an integrated GPS and will also have a sensor for monitoring the heart rate. In addition, some rumors point to the fact that there will be an integration between speaker and microphone. In this way, users can also use the smartwatch to make calls.

It is clear that the Watch GT 2 will have Bluetooth, but there is still no information on the presence or absence of LTE connectivity. The new smartwatch will be presented in two versions: the Classic model and the Sport model.
