According to 9to5mac, recently famous market analyst organization, TrendForce releases a research report about 2018 new iPhone. In their report, the new iPhone will improve Face ID ability and screen to body ratio.
TrendForce claims that new iPhone Face ID function will be more powerful, its screen to body ratio will also be enhanced, which is close to ‘Real bezelless screen’, currently iPhone X has 81.36% screen to body ratio. In addition, iPhone X 2 will have larger storage, and AMOLED screen.
Due to technology limit, it is said in 2018 Apple will be the only smartphone brand to support 3D face ID, other smartphones will continue to use fingerprint scanner.
