Yesterday we reported that the Vivo iQOO sub-brand announced a partnership with the BMW M Motorsport team, and today the first image of their joint product appeared on the network. This is a special version of the flagship smartphone iQOO 5 Pro BMW Edition.
The poster, which can be seen on the Chinese network, shows the rear panel of the iQOO 5 Pro BMW Edition. Thanks to this, we can make at least a general picture of the design and main camera of this phone. The back cover has a fine texture and therefore we could guess that it will be made of carbon fiber. The edges are curved and complemented by blue elements, which look quite impressive.
A vertical camera module with three sensors is stored in the upper left corner of the rear panel. So far, the manufacturer is hiding their distinction. However, according to the square border of the last lower sensor, it is clear that it will be a periscope telephoto lens.
According to an insider Digital Chat Station, such a sensor will support 5x optical and 60x digital zoom. Other parameters of iQOO 5 are not known for BMW. However, tipsters estimate that they could be the same or slightly better than the iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro models, which will be part of the upcoming line.
Recall that the flagship is also credited with a display with an OLED matrix and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio support, a top-end Snapdragon 865 chip, LPDDR5 RAM, a UFS 3.1 drive and a 120W Super FlashCharge proprietary charging. It can charge a 4000mAh battery to 100% in just 13 minutes. By the way, yesterday Xiaomi showed the flagship Mi 10 Ultra, which received the same ultra-fast charging.
The iQOO 5 Pro BMW Edition should be announced with the regular model iQOO 5 Pro and iQOO 5 at a presentation in China on 17 August.
