At the end of last month, iQOO launched iQOO 3 5G with 144 Hz screen, Snapdragon 865 chip. Now, a cheaper version under the name iQOO Neo 3 with a similar configuration also has just been released. Despite owning high-end hardware and supporting 5G network connectivity. This handset still retains a relatively affordable price, only from 2698 yuan (about ).
Specifications and Features
iQOO Neo 3 is equipped with a 6.57 inch LCD screen with Full HD + resolution, 20: 9 aspect ratio, supports 98% sRGB, DCI-P3, and HDR10 color gamut. Its screen has a 144Hz refresh rate, using a perforated design with a “mole” in the upper right corner to accommodate the selfie camera and occupying 90% of the front.
Inside, iQOO Neo 3 owns the hardware power comes from Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 865 processor. This SoC is combined with Adreno 650 GPU, up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal memory. If you do not know, UFS 3.1 memory has a sequential read speed up to 1733MB / s and a maximum write speed of 731MB / s.
Moving to the back, iQOO Neo 3 carries a triple camera system arranged vertically and placed in a rectangular module. The rear camera cluster of the device includes a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor with a 112-degree viewing angle, and a 2MP macro sensor.
The iQOO Neo 3 comes with a fairly large 4500mAh battery, supports 44W fast charging via USB Type-C. So it can charge from 0% to 50% in just a few minutes. The phone supports SA / NSA dual-mode 5G networking, NFC connectivity and Wi-Fi 6+, Dual SIM (2x nano SIM), and a 3.5 mm headphone connector.
Besides, it also integrates an 11-stage cooling system with the ability to “cool” the internal components up to 10 degrees. It has dual speakers and Hi-Fi audio, a fingerprint sensor on the side. The whole works under the control of the system Android 10 with the iQOO UI interface. The device has dimensions of 163.71 × 75.55 × 8.93 mm and weighs 198.1 grams.
Price and Release Time
As expected, iQOO Neo3 will be sold in China from April 29 with two gradient color options, Blue and Black. The device starts at 2698 yuan (about $381.79 ) for the 6GB version of RAM + 128GB of memory.
The 8GB/12GB RAM + 128GB versions are sold for 2998 yuan (about $424.24) and 3298 yuan (about $466.70). Meanwhile, the most advanced version of iQOO Neo 3 with 8GB RAM + 256GB has a retail price of 3398 yuan (about $480.85).
