The iQOO Neo 5 is all set to be unveiled on March 16. This was posted by iQOO after a teaser went live on Weibo teasing the launch date. And, today, some new information shows that iQOO Neo 5 will come with a triple rear camera setup and as we can see the word “OIS” on the camera module, its means the camera of this device will support Optical Image Stabilization. While it is expected, this triple rear camera setup will consist of a 48MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP depth sensor.
On the other hand, “PUBG” announced today that it will update a batch of 90-frame Smartphone models, and iQOO Neo 5 is also listed. In terms of game visual effects, iQOO Neo 5 will use a hardware-level independent display chip to support “game frame insertion” and “stabilized frame rate” functions.
Recently, there were reports that the iQOO Neo 5 will also use memory fusion technology to optimize RAM and ROM through algorithms. Part of the idle ROM space is directly used for RAM operation, which increases the memory capacity in disguise. With this technology, an 8GB RAM model can have 11GB RAM running memory.
In addition, iQOO Neo 5 has basically confirmed that it will use the Snapdragon 870 processor, 66W ultra-fast flash charging support, and 3D cooling system. According to a famous Chinese leakster “DigitalChatStation”, the successor of iQOO Neo 3 will use a 66W fast charger and this charger will give the device a full charge in about 30 minutes. Finally, the phone will run Android 11 based Origin OS and house a 4000mAh battery.
Earlier this month, Twitter on Weibo appeared to leak the price and specifications of iQOO Neo 5. Twitter claimed that the starting price of this phone is 2998 yuan (about $464), 8GB RAM + 128GB. The storage version is 3298 yuan (around $510) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version, 3398 yuan (approximately $525) for the 12GB RAM + 128GB storage version, and 3698 yuan (equal to $572) for the top version.
