Among the large smartphone manufacturers we find LG, however, we know that they have not done very well in this field, so they have decided to change their strategy. Now we learn that the next flagship of the South Koreans is the LG Judy and, as is logical, some features of the new smartphone have already leaked.
The well-known filtering Evan Blass, known for his Twitter account @evleaks, confirms some details and specifications of the new high-end LG. As you can tell by the name, it’s a phone that bears the name of a new family, leaving behind the supposed LG G7. His code name is LG Judy. What do you think?
Unfortunately, we can not confirm your arrival for the soon-to-be MWC 2018, as we only know that you will have some minor updates for your current devices by then. Apparently, the new LG Judy would be scheduled to be released in June. Meanwhile, we already know some characteristics of the equipment.
Judy would arrive under a completely new design with 6.1-inch Full Vision screen and 18: 9 aspect ratio, and is believed to be slightly larger than the LG G6. An important point is that Judy would arrive with an MLCD + panel, that is, nothing of IPS LCD or OLED. Said panel would have an RGBW matrix, with an additional white sub-pixel, which in theory would give us a higher brightness level up to 800 nits and 35% less energy consumption compared to the LCD.
On the other hand, Judy’s specifications would be complemented with the latest components to bet on everything. For example, it would come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of Ram and probably it will release in a higher version and of course it is a higher version, so maybe it equipped 6GB of Ram with 128GB permanent storage. In addition to an IP68 certified design and something they say will be “military grade durability”.
Obviously, we would have two cameras of 16MP each and an aperture f / 1.6, in addition to artificial intelligence functions. It also speaks of double boombox stereo speaker, HDR10 certified panel, wireless charging, digital assistant and voice recognition.
