Design
The Jumper S5 GO in a cardboard box inside which we find: the actual notebook, the power supply, a wireless mouse (with standard adapter in the package) a multilingual manual. The dimensions are: 332.3mm x 219.5mm x 15.56mm; the weight is 1.70kg and the thickness is about 15mm; the shell is gray plastic but the sensation to the touch is pleasant and it seems less “plasticky” than expected.
Display
The new Jumper Jumper S5 GO has a 14.1 inch 1920 x 1080 FHD HD screen and a narrow bezel for a wider field of view. The back is surface light reflection, using precise projection techniques and CNC diamond cutting techniques to reduce interior light and avoid background reflections. This laptop is comfortable to use. The matte anti-reflective panel allows this laptop to be used outdoors even in strong sunlight.
Hardware
The new Jumper S5 GO is equipped with an Intel Pentium N3700 processor, a 14nm Quad-Core that operates between 1.6 and 2 GHz, and integrates an Intel HD Graphics GPU. As for storage, it has 4GB of DDR4 RAM and a 360 GB SSD. It also works under the Windows 10 operating system.
Features
The webcam (top center on the edge of the display) is only 0.3MP: it does not have a very high resolution but if the environment is well lit, it does its job. Interested in the dual microphone which will come in handy in videoconferencing. The 33 Wh lithium-ion battery offers good autonomy although obviously not at the levels possible with the newer and more expensive processors. The trackpad can’t compare to that of the MacBook but it does its job, scrolling smoothly in any case it is possible to use the wireless mouse supplied as standard in the package.
