MediaTek officially announced the Dimensity 9000 flagship processor, which is the first processor to use a 4-nanometer manufacturing process. So it is the strongest chipset that MediaTek has launched so far, and it is also the strongest Android chip at this stage.
It should be noted that this is just one of MediaTek’s plans to reverse the entire market in 2022. In addition to the Dimensity 9000 flagship processor, today the famous Chinese leakster “Digital Chat Station” claims that TSMC will have another n5 flagship core for 2022, which may be named Dimensity 7000. It is currently under test and may be released later than Dimensity 9000.
According to MediaTek’s previous product planning, Dimensity 7000 is likely to be born out of Dimensity 1200 series products, but it is not difficult to see from the naming that this product may bring many major upgrades, not just past simple iterations, MediaTek has great confidence.
According to recent leaks, the Snapdragon 870 from the Qualcomm camp will still be active on the next flagship battlefield next year, and the new generation chipset of the Dimensity 7000 may cause a strong blow to it and bring more diversified products. It is worth looking forward to.
