Meizu CEO Jack Wong said several months earlier that his company would release Meizu Sei 16 in April 2019. Until entering the second week of April, there was no news when the official Meizu launch date was 16.
But the news from one of the people who is often trusted about the leak, Meizu 16s will be released on April 23, 2018. On the same date, it is known that Lenovo will also announce their latest flagship smartphone, Lenovo Z6 Pro.
According to the leak, Meizu 16s will also be announced at Zhuhai Base Camp, China, on April 23. In addition, the official Meizu store in Tmall also displayed posters stating that “Sparkling New Machine” will soon be sold. With the warming done for their latest products on April 21 and 22, it provides a strong indication that the Meizu 16 will indeed be released on April 23.
The Meizu 16s smartphone has already obtained a certification license from TENAA. Concurrent with that, this smartphone image also has a bright waypoint. Meizu 16s will come with a 6.2 inch AMOLED screen FHD + resolution.
Meizu 16s has a symmetrical design with a bezel that is thinner than the Meizu 16, especially at the top and bottom. In addition, the Meizu 16s will get support for the Snapdragon 855 chipset which is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
While for the Meizu 16s operating system runs Android 9 Pie and there is also the latest edition of the Flyme UI available. Meizu 16s also has the support of a security feature in the form of a fingerprint scanner sensor on the back.
For shooting facilities, Meizu 16s is the latest smartphone that has a 20MP stock for the front camera. The resolution of the camera lens is also the same number as Meizu 16. As for the power to use the battery, the Meizu 16s will be quite durable with a battery capacity of 3600mAh which supports the Quick Charge 24W feature.
