Today was the day that the much rumored, much speculated and much talked about sixth generation in the so called Meizu dream series, the Meizu MX6 was brought officially out for the world to see.The MX6 sports the metal unibody (7.25mm thick), and uses the refined antenna bands that came on Meizu Pro 6. As we expected, the MX6 comes with a 5.5″ Sharp-made display of 1080p resolution, covered with a 2.5D glass.
The MX6 comes with A Helio X20 processor and a Mali-T880 GPU, the memory comes standard with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM, and 32GB Internal storage,the MX6 also will be adopting a new file management structure that reduces fragmented files, read and write speed up to 90%, to ensure 24-hour continuous smooth operation.The Battery capacity comes in at a pretty respectable 3060mAh and supports 12V/2A high power fast charge,the fast charge will get you to 25% in 10 minutes, 65% charge in 30 minutes and a fully charged device in 75 minutes.
The MX6 will run on the latest Flyme with an Android 6 Marshmallow core.The MX6 MTouch 360 degree fingerprint identification and gives a response speed of 0.2 seconds. The Rear camera has dropped to 12 MP’s, but the sensor is a 12MP Sony IMX386 1/2.9″ type sensor with 1.4µm pixel size and f/2.0 lens, phase-detection AF, and dual-tone flash. This is believed to be the first phone to use this type of sensor and Meizu says its quality is similar to the Galaxy S7.
The Meizu MX6 will have dual-SIM support and LTE Cat.6 connectivity. The Meizu MX6 will Retail at 1999 Yuan or around $300 and will go on sale on the 30th of July. The device will come in 4 colors being champagne gold, star dust, Moonlight silver, rose gold. We will try and get our hands on the Meizu MX6 and give an indepth review. Stay tuned guys.
