Meizu Officially Launched the First Stable Update of Flyme 8

It was late August when Meizu presented the Flyme 8 OS together with the new medium-range Meizu 16s Pro. Over the past few months, we have talked about the arrival of the first beta of the new OS for all those Android smartphones that the company had named during the presentation of the latest version of the OS.

In these hours Meizu starts the rollout of the stable version of Flyme 8 OS starting from China. The update, weighing about 2.48GB, will touch 27 smartphones released on the market in recent months, thus allowing millions of users to be able to touch the many new features they will find within the new version of the OS. Currently, the Chinese manufacturer has not yet expressed itself regarding the timing of the global distribution of the update.

The models currently affected by the stable version of Flyme 8 OS are Meizu 16s Pro, Meizu 16s, Meizu 16X, Meizu 16, Meizu 16 Plus, Meizu 15, Meizu 15 Plus, Meizu PRO 7, Meizu PRO 7 Plus and Meizu M6 Note. Next month the company should extend the release of Flyme 8 OS also for these other smartphones: Meizu 16Xs , Meizu 15 Lite , Meizu PRO 7 Standard Edition , Meizu Note 9 , Meizu Note 8 , Meizu X8 ,Meizu PRO 6 Plus , Meizu PRO 6s , Meizu PRO 6 , Meizu PRO 5 , Meizu MX6 , Meizu E3 , Meizu S6 , Meizu M6 , Meizu M5 Note , Meizu M3 Max , Meizu M3E.

The arrival of the new version of Flyme OS brings with it a large number of improvements includes Small Window Mode 2.0, which supports opening some applications on top of the interface. For example, you can use WeChat while playing a game in parallel. Updated Firepower Full game mode to version 4.0, and improved recording of what is happening on the screen. It also improved stability of the cellular signal.

In addition, the Flyme 8 OS has an updated night mode of the camera, which will focus on the details and allow you to get high-quality photos in low light. The front camera now uses the display as a flash. Of course, icons, animations have changed, new sounds have been added.
