It appears Xiaomi are all set for the release of a new device, with yet another showing up on the bench marking website, Geekbench. This Xiaomi phone has been introduced as the Xiaomi Redmi Pro and comes with the Helio X25 MT6795T chip. It seems Xiaomi are really going hard against Meizu as this is the same chip used in the Meizu Pro 6. The device has a single-core test of 1847 whilst clocking up 4761 on the multi core test.
The geekbench spec sheet says the device runs on Android 6 has 4GB ram and also comes with a Mali-T880 GPU Rumours circulating say this device from Xiaomi will be priced at only $150, When placed against the Meizu Pro 6 its under half price depending where you buy from. This is astounding news and will put Meizu under a whole lot of pressure. They are 2 entirely different phones of course with the Meizu Pro 6 coming with some really impressive specs all of its own, a Super AMOLED screen with 3D touch. The Meizu pro 6 is a fantastic device and also comes with a Super AMOLED screen with 3D touch and a rear shooter of 21MP to name but a few.
But nonetheless at $150 the Xiaomi Redmi Pro looks certain at the very least give the Meizu a black eye in the sales Department. There have been very little else about the Xiaomi Redmi Pro released in terms of other specs and we really are eager to get some details.
