First, in the screen-off charging test, we can see the curved line, whether Oneplus 3 or Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, they both charge very fast in the first 30 minutes, and then become stable, and we can see the result in the first 20 minutes. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge uses the high voltage and low current quick charge technology, and its charging voltage is up to 9V. Low voltage high current means VOOC or DASH. They need customized power adapter and USB cable to finish quick charge, so they will be inevitable. When i try original Dash power adapter and USB Type c cable to charge Oneplus 3, it will not enter into quick charge mode. So if we need to enjoy quick charge, we need to use the original power adapter and USB cable, or buy a Dash quick charge on its official website, but VOOC quick charge bundle is cheaper than that of oneplus.
