OnePlus has become one of the most loved smartphone brands in a very short span of time. OnePlus phones compete with the forms of iPhone and Galaxy flagships with nearly half the price. That’s why they need a very loyal fan base. OnePlus recently launched OnePlus 5t that is already doing superb sales. the company can launch the new version in 2018. it’ll be named as OnePlus 6. a concept design of this smartphone surfaced on YouTube. this concept design comes from ‘Science and Technology’, an equivalent YouTube channel that brought us the Xiaomi Mi 7 and therefore the Galaxy X Edge concept designs quite recently. Having aforesaid that, let’ see what this phone looks like, and what specs did the source image for it, read on.
As you’ll see the following video, the phone is made of metal, just like the OnePlus 5T and several other of the devices previous to the company. A dual camera configuration on the rear of the phone with a new vertical alignment offers the likelihood of some great images, and therefore the LED flash is simply below to illuminate dark environments. The phone’s antennas are hidden, as within the OnePlus 5 and 5T, and there’s a fingerprint scanner on the rear of the device. the option of placing fingerprint scanners on the rear of phones is, to a large extent, a necessity, thanks to the rapid increase in screen sizes and shrinking bevels.
There are some recent advances in technology that can offer the possibility of placing scanners under the screen, so it is expected that the devices will skip the uncomfortable rear scanner in the near future. The phone’s logo was relocated to the back of the phone, but other than that, all the button locations seem to be more or less in the same place as they were in the OnePlus 5T. Continuing the trend of the market of smaller bevels, this OnePlus 6 concept shows the phone with much thinner bevels than in the OnePlus 5T. The phone still wears the firmly rounded edges that give the 5T its premium look.
As far as the screen is concerned, the OnePlus 6 has a 6-inch AMOLED QHD + panel (2880 x 1440), which is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The OnePlus 6 concept imagines that the phone will be very powerful, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 6/8GB of Ram memory and 64/ 128 / 256GB of internal storage. The back of the phone has 16 and 12MP lenses, both with an aperture f / 1.6, OIS and PDAF. The front of the phone will have a single 16MP camera, also with an aperture of f./1.6 (perfect for selfies!)
The operating system runs Android 8.0 Oreo, although it is adjusted with the Oxygen OS 5.0 operating system. Oxygen OS has been quite well received, but the Android stock is generally cleaner and more intuitive than third-party designs. The OnePlus 6 concept also suggests that the phone will include a headphone jack. On the bottom of the phone, a USB Type-C port allows fast charging. Dash Charge, a technology for a quick recharge, allows you to recharge the non-removable 3950mAH battery much faster than its competitors.
Although we don’t presently have a lot of idea of when the phone is launched, it’s like it may well be somewhere around June 2018. With the release of OnePlus 5T at the top of November this year and therefore the launch of OnePlus 5 in June, would mark approximately one year between 2 of the main releases. As most smartphone companies point to annual releases, we predict it is a pretty smart estimate.
It is vital to stay in mind that the OnePlus 6 conceptual video is simply that: a concept. it’s the imagination of a creative at work, and it’s not a launch of the company itself. Still, it’s really fun to deem what we tend to may expect from the next flagships. It remains to be seen if this video is correct or utterly out of context, however it’ll become a very spectacular phone if these specifications and design are nearly true.
