OnePlus 6T: Leaks Possible Price and Month of the Release

0

Last year OnePlus 5T was presented in November, and therefore wanting to respect the same roadmap OnePlus 6T should arrive in three months (November), about 6 months after the launch of OnePlus 6. What if he had to get there first?

The OnePlus 6T would be sold $20 more than the OnePlus 6, or $550 in the United States. The information comes from the American operator T-Mobile who would have for the first time obtained an exclusive contract with OnePlus to distribute the smartphone in the US.

The smartphone would be adapted to the specificity of the operator and therefore does not quite correspond to the global version that will be available for sale in October. According to Cnet, the price of OnePlus 6T would not be final. But it seems to correspond to the rate increases that we’ve used to OnePlus so far.

The T-Mobile version will be exclusive to the American operator, including compatibility with its 600MHz frequency bands. The international version will be compatible with all operators in the country, as in France. The partnership shows the progress made by this brand, which is gradually succeeding in reaching agreements on the most strategic markets. Although from this point of view, OnePlus is set back from other competitors like Xiaomi, which simultaneously opened its first physical store in France and is offered by all operators and retail chains.

Moreover, the United States is a particularly hostile ground for Chinese brands: Huawei and ZTE have seen their normalization efforts firmly thwarted by the US administration. OnePlus, on the other hand, has a better image, driven by the very community dimension of the brand. A success could sustainably consolidate its ambitions in the country.
