The rumors and leaks on OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are becoming more consistent and frequent, a sign that we are getting closer and closer to the launch date of the new top of the range of OnePlus. A few days ago we told you about the potential similarities between the display of the new flagships and that of the OnePlus 8T, but in these hours an unpublished leak offers the possibility to discover what the battery module of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro should be.
According to leaker Max Jambor, both smartphones should be equipped with a 4500mAh battery module, which in fact would not represent a variation compared to that used on OnePlus 8T.
But it does not end there: according to the information collected by the leaker, it seems that OnePlus has decided to insert the charger inside the package of both devices, thus going against the ecological choice of Samsung and Apple respectively with the Samsung Galaxy S21 series and iPhone 12.
Among the expected features of the new high-end series are the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and some improvements from a photographic point of view. Recently leaked hands-on images of the Pro version also revealed the smartphone will sport quad rear cameras developed in partnership with Hasselblad.
The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are rumored to have 120Hz screens. However, the vanilla 9 will reportedly pack a 6.55″ FullHD+ panel, while the Pro model will sport a 6.78″ QHD+ curved display. The various information shared on the network speaks of the probable support for fast charging from 30W wirelessly and from 65W with cable, but we are not yet certain that these rumors are actually true.
We’ve also heard rumors about the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro supporting wireless charging. The Pro variant will go all the way up to 45W, but the charging speed of the regular 9 remains unknown.
According to the latest news, OnePlus will present the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro in the month of March 2021. Mirroring Samsung, the Chinese brand has decided to bring forward the release of its new high-end smartphones by several weeks. We’ll tell you more as soon as possible.
