This afternoon, OnePlus held a press conference to officially unveil its new flagship phones, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.
In terms of design, OnePlus 9 adopts a rear-mounted dual main camera design, which is as light as 183g and 8.1mm thick. It adopts an exclusive double-layer AG process and the first diffuse gradient texture. It has three colors of obsidian, whale blue and purple wings.
On the screen, the OnePlus 9 is factory by factory color calibration, supporting 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, front and rear dual light sensing and 8192 level automatic brightness adjustment.
The OnePlus 9 uses an expensive, flexible, straight screen that is thinner and more transparent than a typical hard screen, with a wider viewing angle and a narrower lower bezel, OnePlus said. Also added “environmental color adaptation” and “video resolution enhancement” technology.
In terms of configuration, the OnePlus 9 comes with the standard “Triangle” — Snapdragon 888 flagship mobile platform + LPDDR5 memory + UFS 3.1 flash memory. It is also equipped with horizontal linear motor, ultra-linear dual speakers, enhanced Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and third-generation soaking plate cooling system.
The OnePlus 9 comes standard with a 65T Warp Flash charge, which can be charged to 100% in just 29 minutes, according to the official. OnePlus 9 has a built-in 4500mAh dual-cell high-capacity battery, and the charging head is compatible with PD and other protocols. The OnePlus 9 Pro also supports a 50W wireless Super Flash charge that takes 43 minutes to 100%.
In terms of camera, the OnePlus 9 is equipped with an IMX766 “main camera level” sensor and has 50 megapixels. The new “free-form curved lens” reduces the distortion rate from 10% to 20% in traditional mobile phones to 1%. The first version of the OnePlus 9 Pro is equipped with a 48-megapixel IMX789 sensor with a unique ratio of 1/1.35 inch area to 16:11. It supports optical stabilization and 8K 30fps/4K 120fps video shooting, and can achieve 12-bit RAW output.
It is worth mentioning that the OnePlus 9 series supports “Hasu Natural Color Optimization”, so that users do not need to carry out tedious post-production; “Hasselu Pro mode” can adjust all core parameters freely, the peak focus function is accurate manual focus, the OnePlus 9 Pro can also shoot 12-bit deep color RAW, improve the space for post-production.
OnePlus said that the OnePlus 9 Pro is the most investment, the highest cost, the longest effort in the history of OnePlus, with three color schemes of Flash Silver, Oasis and Black Hole. OnePlus 9 PRO “Black Hole” is the first silk glass in the industry, “is another breakthrough in the glass technology of OnePlus”.
In addition, the OnePlus 9 Pro’s screen supports adaptive refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz, and officials claim that WeChat books can be read for more than six hours on the same charge, reducing screen power consumption by as much as 50%.
In terms of system, OnePlus 9 series is equipped with ColorOS 11 for OnePlus, which is deeply integrated with Hydrogen OS. It is fully updated in terms of design, convenient functions, game experience and system fluency, and adds OnePlus features at the same time.

In terms of price, the 8GB+128GB version of the OnePlus 9 is priced at 3,799 yuan, while the 12GB+256GB version is priced at 4,299 yuan. The OnePlus 9 Pro is priced at 4,999 yuan for 8GB+128GB, 5,499 yuan for 8GB+256GB, and 5,999 yuan for 12GB+256GB.
