Less than a week after the Oppo Reno 6 series announcement, tipster Evan Blass has released new official-looking renderings of the entire series of devices: Oppo Reno 6 5G, 6 Pro 5G, and 6 Pro + 5G.
Gadgets360 reports that the Oppo Reno 6 5G includes an unspecified MediaTek chipset, accompanying 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory as standard. But if that’s not enough, a 12/256GB version will also be available. The Reno 6 5G will be equipped with a 6.55-inch screen for spacious display space, Full HD resolution, support for 90Hz refresh rate, and a 32MP selfie camera in the upper left corner.
The rear of the product is distinguished by a triple camera cluster design that looks like the iPhone 12 and LG Wing design, with a 64MP main sensor. In addition, there is no information about the remaining cameras, namely 2 super-wide-angle cameras and close-up cameras.
The upcoming Reno 6 5 uses a flat aluminum frame that seems to be inspired by the iPhone 12, the 3.5mm headphone jack can be removed. This device will use a 4500mAh battery, support 65 W fast charging, come in 3 colorful colors: Galaxy Dream, Night Sea, and Summer Harumi.
Reno 6 Pro 5G
OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G is expected to have an almost identical design to the Reno 6 5G, the main difference is that the 4-camera cluster is upgraded more powerfully. OPPO will replace the flat frame by implementing more rounded frames on the pro version.
At the same time, on Reno 6 Pro 5G the flat screen has been switched to a curved screen, still having a size of 6.55 inches. The Reno 6 Pro 5G will be sold in the same colors as Reno 6 namely Galaxy Dream, Night Sea, and Summer Harumi.
Reno 6 Pro+ 5G
OPPO Reno 6 Pro + 5G will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chip, which is said to be more powerful instead of using MediaTek’s chip. The device will have an upgraded quad-camera cluster design using a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. Previously, OPPO used that sensor as the main camera and ultra-wide camera of the Find X3 Pro, so Reno 6 Pro+ users can certainly expect some impressive results.
OPPO Reno 6 Pro + 5G is said to have two colors at launch, Summer Harumi and Moon Sea. The Reno 6 series will be officially announced on May 27, so we’ll know more at the event.
