Today’s news, the blogger digital chat station hinted that OPPO will soon use commercial 240W cable flash charging technology.
In the first half of this year on the MWC2022, OPPO demonstrated 240W super flash charge, which is the highest flash charge power fast charge technology so far, can be called “fast charge volume king”.
Instead of a USB-A port system, OPPO 240W Super flash charger uses a more versatile USB-C charger with an output parameter of 24V10A, which is directly output to a double-string battery pack by two charge pumps.
After entering the mobile phone, the electricity is converted into 10V/24A by charge pump for high voltage direct charging. The new generation cell supports higher charging rate, and the current of a single cell can reach 12A. At 240W super flash charge, a phone with a 4500mAh equivalent battery capacity can be charged to 100% in 9 minutes.
For safety, OPPO customizes USB-C connectors with lower impedance to further reduce contact resistance, and uses a thicker core to enable high-current and high-power power transmission. E-Marker encryption chip is also set in the terminal, and the encryption algorithm can eliminate security risks such as hacker firmware.
According to the official introduction, 240W super flash charging from the power adapter, wire, and mobile phone end of five layers of safety protection, mobile phone equipped with 13 temperature sensors, and a specially customized intelligent control chip circuit voltage control flow control temperature control, to provide a full range of safety protection.

The flash charging technology will be available on production machines soon, and OPPO is likely to apply it to mid – to high-end models because of its high cost.
