OXVA recently sent over their latest pod system for a hands-on test, and the first one out of the box is the new XLIM Pro 3. With the brand celebrating its 6th anniversary, it’s impressive to see how far the XLIM series has come since OXVA entered the scene in 2019. The lineup has grown significantly over the years, and the XLIM Pro 3 steps in as the newest update to one of their most popular devices.

Following the XLIM Pro 2 and the XLIM DNA edition, the Pro 3 arrives with a bigger battery, a refreshed screen, and OXVA’s new Pulse System, designed to keep performance steady even when the battery is running low. It’s shaping up to be one of the most refined versions of the XLIM yet.
Design
At first glance, the XLIM Pro 3 carries the familiar slim, flattened look of its predecessor, but with a more polished finish. The 1.05-inch HD display sits front and center, while the main button sits just above it for firing and navigating settings. The device feels smooth and comfortable in the hand, with curved edges that make it easy to grip.
One thoughtful detail is the horizontal airflow slider on the side. Compared to vertical sliders—which are often blocked unintentionally by your fingers—this layout makes it a lot easier to fine-tune the draw without covering it up. The USB-C port sits at the bottom, so you won’t be charging it upright, but fast charging compensates for that—OXVA says it’ll reach 80% power in about 30 minutes.
The LED bar under the screen adds a subtle touch of customization. You can switch its color or turn it off completely if you prefer a minimal look.
Features
Using the XLIM Pro 3 is straightforward.
- Five clicks turn the device on or off.
- Four clicks lock the fire button.
- Three clicks adjust wattage.
- Two clicks open the settings menu.
- One click fires the device.
Inside the menu, you can change themes, adjust the LED light, or reset the puff counter. The interface is clean, colorful, and easy to read both indoors and outdoors.
The 1500mAh battery is a notable upgrade, especially for a compact device. Alongside that is the OXVA Pulse System, which keeps output stable regardless of battery level. Even at 1% charge, the vape feels the same—no sudden dip in flavor or vapor production.
The XLIM Pro 3 works with OXVA’s full range of XLIM pods, including the 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω, and 1.2Ω options, plus the pods that use replaceable coils. This makes it a flexible device for both RDL and MTL users. In previous XLIM kits, OXVA usually includes 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω pods, so that may be the case again here.

During testing, I tried all four refillable pod options:
- 0.6Ω pod – Automatically sets to 22W (24W feels perfect). With the airflow wide open, it gives a warm, cloudy RDL draw with excellent flavor.
- 0.8Ω pod – Starts at 16W (18W is ideal). Produces a smooth loose MTL or gentle RDL draw.
- 1.2Ω pod – Sets to 12W. Works beautifully for a traditional MTL experience with half-closed airflow.
- 0.4Ω pod – Kicks in at 28W (30W delivers a satisfying, cloudier RDL hit).
Across all pods, the flavor is impressively full—there’s a noticeable richness on the inhale and a strong finish at the back of the throat. Vapor production is solid too, especially for a device this size.

Conclusion
The OXVA XLIM Pro 3 is a well-rounded upgrade to an already popular series. It’s easy to use, the interface is clean, and the flavor performance is consistently strong thanks to the new Pulse System. The horizontal airflow slider, compact size, and wide pod compatibility make it versatile for a range of vaping styles.
If you’ve enjoyed previous XLIM devices—or you’re looking for a reliable pod system with strong flavor and simple controls—the XLIM Pro 3 is definitely worth checking out. It should be hitting retailers soon, if it isn’t already available in your region.
