Philips today introduced a new premium headset, the Philips H8000E. The exact price has not yet been announced, only that it will be available in September.
The Headphones feature a head-mounted design with a graphene-coated 40mm drive unit that supports adaptive active noise cancelling ANC and can be customized via the Philips Headphones app.
The headset supports Bluetooth LE Audio and the next generation LC3 codec, Bluetooth Auracast broadcast audio technology, provides 50 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation on (70 hours off), and even supports a replaceable battery for improved maintainability.
Philips says the headphones are lightweight, they use recycled plastic in the structure with sustainability goals in mind, and come with an “easily replaceable integrated battery and removable ear pads” designed to keep users going for a long time.
